**We Encourage All Ages & Abilities**

There are many benefits to becoming a member of the Surf & Watersports Club - Scotland. For starters we're a friendly group of enthusiasts and love to see new faces enjoying a sport we have a passion for. Surfing alone is dangerous and surfing during organised club sessions is a great way to develop your ability in a safe environment. Junior members are always welcome to come and participate and surfing with other club members encourages safety whilst in the water.

We are also looking to organise car-sharing from the surrounding areas, to help reduce the cost of fuel and help reduce our impact on the environment. A great opportunity to learn to surf even if you don't have a car!

The Banffshire Coast Mini-bus is also available at reasonable rates for group transportation.

But there are other benefits to be had as well as the social aspect, these include:

- Membership includes worldwide, third party insurance to cover you whilst surfing
- Reduced hire and training rates (current rates can be found here),
- Club facilities, includes seperate male and female changing facilities (soon to be expanded),
- Club discount on surf equipment and clohing at Surfandwatersportsgear.co.uk

The 2010 membership fee's are shown below. As usual they represent a saving on BSA annual membership in order to encourage local membership and participation.

Adult - £25
Junior (<16 on 1st Jan) - £15
Family (2 adults & unlimited juniors) - £40
Social - £10
